Expensive furniture deserves an independent eye.
On a construction site, an owner's supervisor checks the builder's work. We do the same for your kitchen, wardrobe and bespoke furniture: an independent expert inspects the installation before you pay the final invoice.
Findings
- 1Wall cabinet U4: no wall fixing, unit rests on its neighbour.Critical
- 2Drawers A2–A4: front gap 1.5 mm at top, 4 mm at bottom.Significant
- 3Plinth strip loose at A2–A3, 12 mm scratch.Cosmetic
The installer grades their own work. That is not enough.
Bespoke furniture often costs more than a car. Yet it is signed off with a quick look and a handshake, without anyone measuring, testing or writing anything down.
Defects show up later
A sagging door, a loose wall fixing or an unsealed joint is invisible on day one. Six months later, a warranty dispute is much harder, because there is no evidence.
You don't have to be the expert
You shouldn't need to know the correct hinge reveal or how a stone worktop must be supported. We do, and we tell you plainly what is right and what is not.
The final payment is your only leverage
Before the last invoice is paid, the installer has every reason to fix things fast. After it, the problems are yours. The inspection happens at exactly the right moment.
Eight areas, over a hundred checkpoints.
We don't "have a look". We measure, open, close, load and compare against the drawings. Every point is graded: OK, cosmetic, significant or critical.
